baby abby is now a 1 year old! we had a great birthday party for her
we roasted marshmellows and went swimming, her brother and sister were there and life was great. hailey did very well in this years rodeo queening competition she took 1st attendant in the mini miss division. she loved every minute of it, she is doing so well riding her horse but she really just loves putting on the makeup. we finally got jess's ticket cleared up thankfully the judge lowered the speed by 2o miles and we only had to pay $157 dollars, plus 15 hours of community service, I was pleased to say the least. will post pitures of wyatt's wrestling competition he did so well, I was a proud mama yelling louder than any of the other moms!

It has been sooooo long since I posted any comments. it is great that summer time has finally come. hailey has her first rodeo queening contest this friday we are really excited. still waiting to find out how jess's ticket has come along. this pass month we moved into a new house, waiting for our other house to be complete. change is good but hard moving and having to pack up everything. jess and I went to vegas this pass month and what a good time we had!!!! no kids, just fun we loved it. everyone should have a weekend with no kids in vegas every once in a while. hailey went to cheer camp in tremonton this week, I can't believe how big my girl is getting, it seems like she was just a toddler a few months ago, she finally sprouted legs, nothing like her mom with short stubby legs!

our family had a great weekend this week. It was branding time and we loved it! we branded a large group of calves and wyatt got to rope for his first time off the horse. he did great we were so excited. calves looked good getting ready to go to summer pasture. I got kicked in the knee while trying to give vaccinations, hurt like hell! abby enjoyed watching from grandmas lap, and hailey had fun trying to rope the calves and play with her cousin todd. jess got a ticket this week going 106 on the snowville flats, I know I have already yelled at him, he feels bad, hopefully he the ticket will be reasonable in price, but at 106 mph I doubt it. anyhow will post pics of the branding later this week

today is junior rodeo and wyatt is excited, he is really becoming a good roper!!!! hopefully the goat will be a little smaller than last time and he will be able to throw him down! hailey is sure she wants to ride a sheep today at the rodeo, but she had her tonsils out last week, I pretty sure that riding sheep is not on the approved list of things to do. anyhow we docked lambs on saturday(also known as removing the testicles of a lamb) the kids got all bloody and loved it, jess's mom and brother cooked up the testies to eat but I would have none of that!!!! I have decided to start taking a few classes for my bachelors I am not happy about it but in the long run it will probably help, jess is going to have to help me on stats and that should about as much fun as getting hit by a truck!

This week was great! wyatt and hailey had their first junior rodeo, it was so exciting to see both of them compete. wyatt rodeo a sheep which didn't turn out so well for him, but his goat tying was much better. Hailey had the most adorable barrel racing shirt on she thought she looked beautiful and she did. she competed in pulling the ribbon off the goats tail and stick barrel racing.
our first phase of our remodel is almost done, will post pics of the house soon. our lambs have had a tough week, we had lost 5 lambs and sold one, hailey thought her heart was going to break because I sold one of her lambs, she just kept hugging it and kissing it, she cried for 30 min. it broke my heart I almost turned back around to get the lamb, but I told her there will be others!
